Released in Aug 2026 - ACOUSTIC CHAIR is a compilation of acoustic recordings. It finds THE LAZY I in a more vulnerable & introspective musical mood and contains alternate and/or original demo versions of a number of TLI classics, as well as a selection of previously unheard songs.

Recorded over the course of July 2026, and released in Aug - SATURNA DE NOCTURNE is a fusion of Electronica, Folk, EDM and Classical music which is an atmospheric soundscape of dizzying scope. It covers themes of mortality and fate, love and hate , and contains an ethereal astral quality throughout it's fairly brisk runtime.

Recorded between the 18th February and the 2nd March 2026 - T.H.E.Y is a fairly important record in the TLI catalogue as it heralded the return of THE LAZY I from the musical wilderness after having taken two years away from all music to care for his disabled children. It blossomed from some simple messing about with melodys into a fully formed album within a short space of time and reignited the love for musical creativity that has always been at the heart of TLI's music.

Recorded in bits & pieces throughout May to August 2025 - I'm Sorry, I'm A Human Being takes it's title from a TV appearance by Tony Benn , and is first and foremost a protest album. Sickened by the state of the world and the behaviour & mindset of a lot of society, as well as by the hypocritical furore surrounding the Glastonbury controversy of that year, this record was eventually birthed.

Recorded through the first week or so of October 2023 - INFINITY A.D is an ambient-rich EDM / Electro album with a mystical feel and a fantastical atmosphere. It was the final album from a run of 6 recorded throughout 2023, and it's complexity led to TLI taking a break from recording for a while after.

Recorded between the 12th & 27th of September 2023 - IMPATIENCE IS A VIRTUE is a short, sharp burst of EDM / Electro music with elements of Pop music that was created after the TLI set themselves a simple goal of crafting an album of tracks with minimalist run times (3 mins or thereabouts). This was done in an effort to avoid some of the stretched-out self indulgence that electronic music can sometimes suffer from.

Written & recorded across the first couple of weeks of September 2023 - THIS IS WHO WE ARE is a jubilant mix of EDM, Electro and big Hip Hop beats, with quirky samples and lots of energy. This was a fun album to record , and that definitely shines through in the music.

Written & recorded the 19th & 28th August 2023 - RICHARD THE III was named partly because it was the 3rd record recorded in 2023, and partly because of the rhyming slang humour. It leans into cinematic moments, which it then paints onto an Electro / Electronica musical canvas - with lashings added of indie and alt vibes, and even some grittier EDM moments.

Written & recorded the 29th July & 18th August 2023 - MUSIC FOR PEOPLE WHAT HATE MUSIC was partly recorded in the tent at night at one of the festivals TLI was running a stage at - and was named after the fact that everyone around seemed to detest electro music. It is a mercurial EDM album, one moment joyous and upbeat and the next dark & brooding.

Written & recorded the 19th & 23rd July 2023 - FREAK SOUL was recorded at one of the festivals TLI was running a stage & performing at - It was the first of what became 6 new albums recorded over the summer of 2023 and has a raw edge as it shows TLI beginning to explore Electro music, and pushing the boundary of ambient and EDM sounds.

Written & recorded in March through to May 2023 - DIAMONDS IN DISGUISE is a lofi stream-of-consciousness indie/alternative album which varies from theatrical and epic acoustic tracks to indie rock, with some alt hip hop  thrown in for good measure. None of the songs were 'planned' as such, they were written and performed as they were recorded.

CLAUSTROPHOBIA was written & recorded in 2021 when the world was still being messed up by Covid (and some of the lyrics may have been scribbled down in 2020). It is an uncomfortable, lofi, grungey, indie , folky kind of album which seems to capture the aimlessness, anger and emptiness of lockdown and reflects it straight back at the listener.

SAFETYNETYOU was written and recorded through 2019 with help on the guitar from TLI's original longtime musical foil , Don E Ronson (original guitarist of legendary rock group ICARUS VISION) - it is a hard-rocking alternative / indie rock album with Pink Floyd-ish undertones and some experimentation , often touching on themes of isolation , toxicity and disease (portentously heralding in the following year).

THE SOUND OF SEA is the second of the TLI Alt HipHop albums (following up on the success of Generate) - fusing samples with live organic instruments and hip hop beats it is a sometimes more complex and darker foray into the genre , but with many upbeat moments of release.

GENERATE is the result of a lifetime's love of Hiphop but having no local avenue or community to share it with - eventually reinspired to dabble with sampling and beats after a few years of listening to Australian hip hop acts like Hilltop Hoods & Funkoars, this album is rich in alt & indie vibes and features TLI's distinctive rapping 'style'.
